With corrugated prices climbing again, many B2B shippers are once more being forced to absorb higher packaging costs, renegotiate pricing, or pass the increase along to consumers. Returnity is offering an alternative approach: a limited-time free pilot program for qualified B2B shippers operating repeatable distribution and replenishment flows.
Companies that begin a pilot within 30 days and advance to broader deployment within 60 days of pilot completion will qualify for preferred reusable box leasing terms.
“Corrugated pricing volatility continues to create operational and financial pressure,” said Mike Newman, CEO of Returnity. “Reusable packaging is a straightforward solution for many of the shipping patterns that already exist within retailers’ day-to-day operations. Switching to Returnity’s cost controlled reusables allows retailers to lock in savings, insulates them from pricing volatility, and gives them one fewer headache to worry about.”
The pilot initiative builds on Returnity’s broader work supporting reusable packaging systems for closed-loop B2B shipping operations, including reusable shipping workflows developed for FedEx B2B shipping environments. Prior pilots and existing deployments support retailer replenishment, internal facility transfers, and reverse logistics programs across North America. Participating shippers report operational improvements, including faster unpacking, reduced disposal labor, improved backroom organization, and lower product damage rates. Rather than positioning reusable packaging as a replacement for all corrugated shipments, Returnity focuses on the shipping lanes where reuse can operate practically within existing distribution systems and help reduce dependency on ongoing single-use box purchases over time.
“Returnity has proven that reusable packaging is a valuable component of modern retail operations,” Newman added. “Companies leverage our product and system expertise to cut costs and improve operational efficiency and supply chain consistency.”
The free pilot program is available for a limited time to eligible B2B shippers operating repeatable distribution and replenishment flows within North America.
