PulPac continues to expand its already extensive network around the Dry Molded Fiber technology with new partner, Sofidel Sweden AB, part of Sofidel Group and a renowned expert in specialty tissue. The aim of the collaboration is to provide the Dry Molded Fiber network with high-quality tissue paper and support the shift towards sustainable fiber-based packaging and away from single-use plastics.
“A partnership with such a strong company as Sofidel Sweden, highly committed to sustainability, is extremely encouraging for PulPac and the Dry Molded Fiber community. Through firsthand experience, we know that Sofidel provides tissue of the highest quality, and we are very pleased to recommend this solution to our customers. We are very excited and look forward to replacing single-use plastics together with Sofidel”, says Viktor Börjesson, Chief Partnership Officer at PulPac.
PulPac’s global network of world leading suppliers cover application development, toolmakers, pulp, tissue and barrier solutions, machinery, and turnkey providers. Partners share the vision of holistic sustainability with designing for purpose and circularity, where packaging and single-use products ideally only hold for its use and are then recycled but biodegrade if they end up in nature.
“We are strong believers of collaboration across the value chain, especially when engaging in a sustainability journey. Combining and leveraging know-how to accelerate the shift towards plastic free packaging for a greener future must be a priority for all packaging industry leaders. We are looking forward to supporting the PulPac community with specialty tissue, that is adapted to the Dry Molded Fiber technology”, comments Roger Svensk, MD at Sofidel Sweden.
Following on PulPac’s community approach to enable a wide and ever-growing network globally within the Dry Molded Fiber breakthrough technology, this partnership is non-exclusive.
