The Swedish Rheumatism Association has nominated an e-commerce from the swedish company Nöjd for the PackNorth Award, recognising its user-friendly design and ease of opening. The e-commerce packaging has been developed to improve accessibility for consumers, including those with reduced hand strength, while demonstrating that usability and sustainability can go hand in hand.
The e-commerce packaging from Nöjd has been nominated for its thoughtful user-friendly design. The integrated tear-strip perforation enables straightforward opening, while the generously sized opening tab provides improved grip and leverage, enhancing the overall user experience.
-When it comes to the design of e-commerce packaging, the primary focus is, understandably, on protecting the content during transport. Nöjd demonstrates that ease of use can be just as important as part of a package’s functionality. The packaging offers a thoughtfully designed user experience that makes it easier for more consumers to handle and open the parcel, says Stina Nordström, Secretary General of the Swedish Rheumatism Association.
-We are very proud that Adlibris Package A4 has been nominated for the PackNorth Award by the Swedish Rheumatism Association. The packaging was developed with both usability and sustainability in mind. It’s easy-open tear strip makes it simple to open, even for people with limited hand strength, while the adjustable box height minimizes the need for unnecessary void fill. Using corrugated material made from 100 percent recycled fibre further demonstrates that accessibility and sustainability can successfully go hand in hand, says Björn Kjellbris, Head of Packaging Development and Automation Sweden, Christer Nöjd AB.
