The Bulgarian unit of Hong Kong-based packaging manufacturer Tri-Wall Limited launched the construction of a 30 million euro ($35.9 million) corrugated cardboard and packaging plant, the innovation ministry said on Wednesday.
The new factory in the Trakia Economic Zone near Bulgaria’s second-biggest city of Plovdiv will feature a warehouse for raw materials and finished products, a workshop for the manufacturing of paper packaging products, an office part and other service premises, the ministry of innovation said in a press release. The facility is expected to create 150 jobs.
The ministry of innovation announced the planned investment last February.
