Mitsubishi Heavy Industries EMEA Ltd., Corrugating & Printing Machinery Division, recently had the pleasure of welcoming its esteemed customer from Italy, Antonio Sada & Figli spa, to the Mitsubishi Mihara Machinery Works in Hiroshima, Japan. This marked the first visit to Japan for all members of the Sada team.
The visit was organised for the pre-shipment inspection of Sada’s EVOL, which is scheduled for installation and commissioning at the company’s facility in early spring 2026.
During their stay, the Sada team toured Mitsubishi’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and witnessed their EVOL running at full speed with sheets of various sizes. They conducted a detailed inspection of the machine and engaged in in-depth discussions with Mitsubishi’s experts regarding operation, performance, and maintenance.
As part of the visit, the team also toured a Japanese corrugated box manufacturing plant to observe the EVOL in live production conditions. The machine demonstrated has been in operation for 19 years and continues to run at top speed while efficiently handling small lots and multi-product runs—an experience that left a strong impression on the visitors.
