Esko has cemented its commitment to empowering packaging and label businesses with sustainable technology after it was awarded a prestigious silver medal by ESG compliance platform, EcoVadis.
The recognition highlights the significant progress Esko has made in its sustainability journey over the past two years after earning a bronze medal in 2023. It means Esko is among the top 15% of all assessed companies across the world, highlighting its leadership in environmental responsibility, ethical business operations, labor policies, and sustainable procurement practices.
Paulina Velez, Global Sustainability & EHS Senior Manager, at Esko was delighted at the company’s latest success, saying, “As part of the Veralto family, we’re guided by our values. It’s important for us to be leaders in what we do, but it’s just as important to ensure we lead the right way, holding ourselves accountable and always striving to be greater. To have that approach recognized with a silver medal from EcoVadis is an honor for our whole team across the world.
“We’re dedicated to supporting our customers as they work towards their own sustainability goals. This silver recognition isn’t just an achievement for us – it’s a big win for our customers, too.”
The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. More than 130,000 companies globally have been rated by EcoVadis.
“We are thrilled to be recognized with a silver medal, but the journey of continuous improvement is never-ending,” added Velez. We’re committed to enhancing our sustainability practices and striving for even greater impact in future assessments
