Ivar Vatne has been officially appointed as the President and CEO of Billerud by the company’s Board. Having served as the acting President and CEO since July 2023, Vatne now assumes the permanent position, effective immediately.

Vatne commenced his journey with Billerud as the CFO in May 2019, steadily progressing to the role of Deputy CEO in October 2022. With a rich professional background encompassing senior positions in companies like Arla, Fiskars, and P&G, Vatne brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
