MM Packaging Deeside will return to Packaging Innovations and Empack highlighting its wide range of board and paper options for its core markets – confectionery, chilled and frozen foods, beverages and fresh produce. Its bespoke designs come in a variety of formats including cartons, wraps and clips.
The company’s extensive cartonboard knowledge and expertise will be showcased at the UK’s leading packaging show, which runs from 11-12 February at Birmingham’s NEC. Developments from the MM Group will also be on stand including moulded pulp designs and micro flute.
“We are focusing on our bread and butter this year, namely our core range of sustainable cartonboard packaging products,” said Julian Freeman, managing director at MM Packaging Deeside. “We had a successful debut at the show in 2025 and for 2026 we want to demonstrate how we can go beyond providing standard cartons. We are innovators in this market and ready to help brands and retailers reduce their plastic usage, at a time when legislation is making a real impact.”
The MM Packaging Deeside team will be on hand to discuss specific designs and examples of work. A catalogue of concepts will highlight the wide variety of shapes, sizes and options on offer. Options include cartonboard solutions for beverage, plastic replacement concepts for a variety of markets and innovative cartons for the confectionery sector.
Also showcased on stand will be MM Packaging’s GreenPeel, a sustainable tray solution designed to replace rigid plastic formats in the chilled food, fresh protein, and ready meal sectors. Its lightweight, fibre-based construction uses up to 90 percent less plastic and features a robust design and continuous rim for seamless integration into standard packaging and sealing processes.
“We are bespoke cartonboard packaging manufacturers and designers, ready to meet the requirements of the market,” added Julian. “At Packaging Innovations and Empack we will show our knowledge and experience in developing the latest in sustainable cartonboard innovations.
