Edale, a Canon company and a leading manufacturer of high-quality flexographic carton and label presses, has announced a new distribution agreement with PT Samafitro, one of Indonesia’s leading industrial printing and finishing providers.
This partnership expands Edale’s footprint in Southeast Asia, enabling label and carton converters across Indonesia to access sales, installation, and service support for Edale’s LabelLine and CartonLine platforms through a trusted in-country partner.
PT Samafitro, headquartered in Jakarta and known for its deep experience in digital and packaging printing, already carries Canon solutions. The addition of Edale’s flexographic presses aligns well with its existing portfolio and strengthens its ability to serve converters pursuing high-efficiency, high-quality production workflows.

The distribution agreement comes at a strategic moment, following Edale’s recent showcase at Labelexpo Europe 2025, which emphasised the importance of integrated carton production in the evolving packaging landscape. Edale showcased live demos of its CartonLine FL6p press, reinforcing its leadership in single-pass flexo technology.
