BW Converting will highlight its advanced Baldwin brand corrugated technologies at the FEFCO Technical Seminar 2025, taking place Oct. 8–10 at La Nuvola Roma Convention Center in Rome, Italy. The featured systems are engineered to help corrugated converters reduce downtime, save energy, expand press capacity and increase run-to-run consistency.
Featured technologies at the seminar will include:
Baldwin Flexo Cleaner Brush™: An automatic plate cleaning system that fully cleans plates in just four minutes, removes hickeys in as little as two seconds and uses only 10% of the solvent required for manual cleaning. The result is sharper print quality, reduced waste and up to 1,000 additional production hours per year.
Baldwin FlexoDry™ IR: An infrared drying solution designed specifically for corrugated plants. By optimizing drying efficiency, FlexoDry achieves up to 30% energy savings while ensuring reliable, uniform performance across high-volume board production.
“Corrugated converters are under pressure to improve quality while lowering costs, and BW Converting’s Baldwin corrugated technologies are built to deliver exactly that,” said Robert Waddington, Curing and Drying Product Line Leader, BW Converting. “With automated cleaning and energy-efficient drying, as well as state-of-the-art safety features, we’re giving manufacturers the tools that directly impact their productivity, sustainability and lean manufacturing goals.”
The technologies featured at FEFCO reflect BW Converting’s ongoing investment in automation and process efficiency, helping corrugated producers stay competitive in a market defined by rising quality standards and tighter sustainability requirements.
