Esko will showcase its newest packaging management solutions at this year’s Pack Expo in Las Vegas, giving attendees the first chance to discover the latest workflow automation innovations specifically designed to boost brands and label and packaging suppliers’ efficiency and customer satisfaction.
From September 29 – October 1, the global provider of integrated software and hardware solutions that accelerate go-to-market of packaged goods will demonstrate how its AI-driven automation solutions help brands and packaging converters maximize efficiency, sustainability, and profitability.
Ultimate artwork management
Expo visitors will discover the latest advances in artwork and label management within the flagship Esko WebCenter Enterprise solution, which integrates with existing tech stacks to orchestrate custom go-to-market packaging and label workflows, as well as the newest WebCenter solution tailored specifically for emerging brands’ in-house packaging production teams, WebCenter Go.
“With WebCenter Enterprise, brands can access configurable workflows, automated quality checks, and a single source of truth for the enterprise artwork and label creation process to go to market up to three times faster,” said Esko CMO Jan De Roeck. “Project management tools organize work with access to the most up-to-date information to eliminate costly bottlenecks, while a specific packaging artwork viewer enables all stakeholders to review, annotate, and approve. The reporting tools inside WebCenter ensure live reports on progress, reasons for rejection, and importantly helps quickly identify bottlenecks to maximize efficiency,” he said.
Alongside WebCenter Enterprise, Esko will debut its newest WebCenter solution at Pack Expo. “WebCenter Go has been developed to meet the challenges faced by growing brands,” he said. “It enables teams to collaborate on packaging, eliminate errors, ensure quality, and go to market faster than their competitors. From customizable checklists and color accuracy verification to making version comparison quicker and easier, it enables teams to build approval workflows, proofread pack copy and check artwork compliance all in one place – and right out of the box,” he said.
From booth SU-35019 in the South Hall Upper of Las Vegas Convention Center, Esko will showcase how WebCenter Go helps teams move fast without compromising on quality, user experience or regulatory standards. “Pre-built templates, transparent workflows, a user-friendly interface, super-easy deployment and the flexibility to adapt to a company’s evolving packaging needs ensure WebCenter Go is the ideal packaging management solution for growing brands,” said Jan.
Intelligent and automated compliance validation
Pack Expo attendees will see firsthand a powerful new tool that streamlines complex processes to help brands meet packaging compliance standards, dramatically reducing costly errors, reworks, and regulatory risk. Esko Comply offers an intelligent, automated way to validate critical components of product packaging and promotional materials, using customizable rules and AI to check labels and packaging for missing allergens, incorrect barcodes, FDA formatting violations, and other potential errors.
“We are excited to demonstrate this newest innovation at Pack Expo and show how we are both complementing our existing preflight tools and bringing additional quality assurance validation to our customers’ workflows,” said Jan. “Ensuring artwork compliance has traditionally been a time-consuming and error-prone process, involving multiple rounds of manual reviews and approvals. With this latest solution, we’re transforming compliance from a bottleneck into a competitive advantage by helping teams identify and address issues early and move faster with confidence.”
A new module for the WebCenter packaging management solution, Esko Comply fully integrates with the Esko ecosystem, empowering teams to maintain full creative control while embedding compliance checks directly into the design and approval process. Designed with input from compliance officers, brand managers, and creative teams, it ensures artwork meets internal and external standards without disrupting creative workflows.”
Enabling data-driven decisions
Also at Pack Expo, Esko will also be introducing Cape Pack Prime, its powerful new palletizing and supply chain optimization tool that enables broader, data-driven decisions. Cape Pack Prime uses real world product models to accurately calculate optimized packaging and palletization solutions that drive down costs and help customers meet their sustainability KPIs.
“With the easy to use cloud platform, Cape Pack Prime can create and evaluate palletizing solutions in seconds that drive down costs and make sustainability goals achievable,” said Jan. “With new embedded carbon footprint and cost calculation features, it helps brands and their supply chains balance economic performance with sustainability goals, empowering packaging teams to achieve both profit and planet-friendly results.”
The focus on innovation will be further underlined when Esko Pre-Sales Solution Consultant James McGonigal delivers one of the expert speaker sessions at Pack Expo, taking a deep dive into how AI and automation are transforming artwork and labeling processes for smarter and more compliant operations. In the talk, titled ‘AI and Automation in Labeling and Artwork Management: Are you ready?’, James will explore the benefits of digital workflows, including faster, more efficient, and compliant solutions, as well as discuss practical applications and take the first steps toward automation & AI with innovative tools.
