NIPPON TOKAI INDUSTRIAL PAPER SUPPLY CO., LTD. (NTI), a member of the NIPPON PAPER GROUP, and its distributor Marubeni Forest LinX (MFX) jointly exhibited at India Corr Expo 2025, held in Greater Noida. This marked the first-ever participation at an Indian exhibition for both NTI and MFX, reflecting their growing commitment to the Indian packaging industry.
NIPPON PAPER GROUP, one of the leading global paper manufacturers, is a comprehensive biomass company shaping the future with trees. Its business model is built around three circulations: the sustainable management of forest resources, the utilization of woody resources through advanced technological capabilities, and the active recycling of products. Guided by its mission to contribute to better living and cultural progress worldwide, the Group strives to achieve sustainable growth while building a circulation-oriented society—protecting healthy forests and making full use of the resources they provide.
At the exhibition, NTI showcased high-quality Kraft Liner Board (KLB) produced at Nippon Paper’s Akita Mill in Japan. The product line included grammages of 175, 200, 250, and 337 gsm, along with samples of 400 and 440 gsm currently under development. Composed of more than 80% virgin pulp and featuring a surface layer made entirely from wood pulp, NTI’s KLB is distinguished by its strength, durability, and excellent printability.
MFX, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation, specializes in consumer products, publication and printing paper, and containerboard and boxes. Working closely with Marubeni India Private Limited, the company exports a wide range of Japanese paper and board products—including NTI’s KLB—into the Indian market.
Reflecting on the success of the exhibition, General Manager of NTI, commented:
“India Corr Expo was a great success for us. We were able to meet with nearly 150 companies from across India, which was a significant achievement. With India’s economy expected to continue its robust growth, this exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the strengths of our KLB to the Indian market.”
Both NTI and MFX see their participation at India Corr Expo 2025 as an important step toward expanding business opportunities in India’s fast-growing packaging sector.
