Eltete Oy is proud to announce that its CEO, Nina Lökfors, has been awarded Sustainable Packaging CEO of the Year 2025 by EU Business News as part of the European CEO of the Year Awards.
This prestigious recognition highlights Lökfors’ visionary leadership and the company’s long-standing commitment to sustainable, recyclable, and cost-efficient transport packaging solutions. Under her direction, Eltete TPM—the sustainable packaging solutions division of the Eltete Group—continues to advance the industry through its dedication to the 3R motto: Reduce, Replace, Recycle.
“This recognition is not about me—it’s a reflection of our entire team’s dedication to creating smarter, greener packaging solutions. We believe in the power of the 3Rs—Reduce, Replace, Recycle—and it’s incredibly rewarding to see our vision making a real impact around the world.” – Nina Lökfors
The European CEO of the Year Awards are based on extensive market research, assessing each nominee’s performance, innovation, strategic direction, and commitment to environmental and social responsibility. Lökfors stood out for her hands-on leadership in scaling sustainable packaging globally, as well as for strengthening Eltete’s global partnerships and compliance with international environmental standards.
Eltete TPM’s award-winning product portfolio includes the Carton Pallet, which won a WorldStar Packaging Award 2025, and the AirCargoRunner™, a paper-based alternative for lightweight air cargo handling. Other key innovations, such as Slip Sheets and the Cargo Box, are enabling companies across various sectors to reduce their use of EPS and wood in logistics processes without sacrificing strength or performance.
Guided by the legacy and vision of Eltete Group Owner Bo Österman, the company has built a global network that promotes circular economy principles, offering FSC-certified, plastic-free solutions that can be assembled locally to reduce emissions and freight costs. It has also implemented an inhouse Eltete Carbon Emissions Calculator (EcEc), providing clients with detailed CO₂ reporting for each solution’s production to support compliance and sustainability reporting.
“With decades of experience, a global presence, and a clear mission, Eltete is helping shape the future of packaging,” said Bo Österman. “I’m proud to see Nina lead the company with such focus and energy.”
As international regulations around waste and emissions tighten, Eltete’s scalable solutions are helping companies across 60+ countries meet their sustainable goals while streamlining their logistics.
