Macfarlane Packaging, the leading supplier of protective packaging in the UK, and growing in Europe, has revealed the winner of its Supplier of the Year for 2024 is Board 24, the UK’s largest independent sheet feeder.
In a change for its 2024 awards, Macfarlane Packaging has also introduced three new award categories in addition to the Supplier of the Year, which are all voted on by employees across the Macfarlane business. The four categories are: Supplier of the Year; Regional Supplier of the Year – two awards for North and South regions; International Supplier of the Year; and Outstanding Individual.
Macfarlane Packaging has over 1,700 suppliers working with the business in the UK and internationally and these annual awards recognise and acknowledge exceptional performance. The winners for all categories are:
· Supplier of the Year – Board 24 – the UK’s largest independent sheet feeder
Regional Supplier of the Year (two awards)
o North – Kenross – a family run manufacturer of corrugated cardboard cartons based in Lancashire
o South – Manor Packaging – a bespoke corrugated cardboard boxes and packaging business based in Peterborough
· International Supplier of the Year – Kara Fiber – a Turkish company that specialises in producing Lyocell fibres and other packaging materials, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility
· Outstanding Individual: Paul Welsh from Boxes and Packaging. Boxes and Packaging provides corrugated and cardboard packaging solutions from its Swindon base. Paul is the company’s Sales Manager.
