BCM Transtech A/S, headquartered in Broby, Denmark, proudly announces the promotion of Jens Christian Christiansen to the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective March 2024.
Following the conclusion of the company’s annual ordinary general meeting on March 13th, it was unanimously resolved that Jens Christian Christiansen would succeed his father, Torben Christiansen, as CEO. Torben Christiansen has held the CEO position since the company’s inception in October 1976.
Jens Christian Christiansen has been an integral part of BCM Transtech since joining the company in November 1999. His journey within the organization has been comprehensive, having served in various roles including blacksmith, installation engineer, and machinery engineer. Over the past decade, he has primarily focused on sales, business development, and business management, accumulating invaluable experience and expertise.
In conjunction with Jens Christian’s appointment, his brother Niels Christiansen’s role within the company has also evolved. Niels began his tenure at BCM Transtech in 2015, initially as an installation engineer, progressing to the position of Technical Supervisor, and most recently serving as Field Installation Manager. Niels now assumes the responsibilities of Installation Specialist and Site Manager, dedicated to ensuring the seamless execution of projects, particularly those of a complex nature.
Torben Christiansen will continue his association with BCM Transtech A/S as Chairman of the Board, providing strategic guidance and leadership. Additionally, Mari-Ann Christiansen, his wife, will maintain her position as CFO, contributing her expertise to the financial management of the company.
The transition in leadership signifies a pivotal moment for BCM Transtech A/S as it continues to uphold its legacy of excellence while embracing new opportunities for growth and innovation in the transportation technology sector.
