Kellogg’s has partnered with HP’s Brands Innovation Platform and the Precision Proco Group (PPG) Sheffield site team to design and digitally print 2,022 unique packages.
Decorated with historical branding, advertisements and packaging, which has been on display since Kellogg’s arrival in the UK in 1922, the packs were presented to the company’s UK employees as part of the centenary celebrations.
The cereal boxes were printed on Precision Proco’s HP Indigo 10K press using SmartStream Mosaic – HP’s variable data printing software that allows printers to create unique designs from existing assets.
Steve Wardle, Senior Manager, Design Operations and Process at Kellogg’s said: “This unique milestone in Kellogg’s history was the ideal opportunity for us to showcase our creativity in crafting a wonderful souvenir for our UK employees and beyond to learn about the power and possibilities of digital printing and the power of personalization.”
Dave Prezzano, Managing Director of HP UKI, said: “HP’s partnership with Kellogg’s is a brilliant example of how digital printing and custom packaging can bring a brand’s story to life.
