Marchesini Group will be exhibiting at Pack Expo International, to be held from 23 to 26 October 2022 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The stars of the show will be the latest innovations developed for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, at booth W-17005 in the Healthcare Packaging hall.
In addition to being an opportunity to meet new customers and to exhibit the latest technologies, this important industry event will be an excellent occasion to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the American subsidiary Marchesini Group USA, founded in 1992. Over the years, the team of engineers and professionals specialising in sales and after-sales services has become a major point of reference for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmetics industry on the American, Canadian and Puerto Rican markets.
The machines on display
Pharmaceutical industry innovations to be presented at the Chicago show will include the Compact 24, a monobloc machine for filling and capping tablet, capsule or pill bottles, produced by the Tonazzi-Vasquali Division. This solution covers multiple operations with a single machine and ensures extremely high levels of efficiency in the crucial counting and capping phases.
This monobloc is equipped with an innovative transport system employing magnets, which overcomes the limits generally associated with standard transport systems, with completely independent handling of every single bottle. The machine is designed to accommodate all the main capping systems (screw, press-on, crimp) and offers the widest possible range of applications to guarantee total control of the product to be packaged (checking, shape, size and colour of tablets and filled bottle weight.).
The stand will also exhibit an RL-F800 ultra high speed vial labelling machine, produced by the Neri Division. It is a rotary style machine and is shown with a laser printer for continuous ultra high speed printing. The line is completed by a TM3 Trayloader for collecting vials in trays, with counter and available check function with a dedicated camera.
The innovations also include two solutions from Dott. Bonapace, a company based in Cusano Milanino (Milan) which joined the Group in 2021: these are an automatic capsule filler able to produce up to 3000 capsules/hour, designed to dose different products into the same capsule, and a rotary tablet press for R&D laboratories and small production lots.
Last but not least, the stand will also show one of the leading solutions of the Group’s Beauty division: an automatic lipstick moulding machine, based on soft mould technology. The SM 1400, complete with melter and fitted with an automatic system for screwing sticks into cases, has been developed by Cosmatic, a brand which specialises in the production of lipstick, lip balm and cosmetic pencil machines.
