Sandland Packaging has continued to improve the diversity of its bespoke packaging manufacturing capability by successfully achieving AA Grade for BRCGS Global Standard for Packaging Materials Issue 7 the globally recognised food safety and quality management standard. This achievement extends Sandland Packaging’s manufacturing capabilities to include bespoke packaging for food and beverages.
Martin Hickman, Managing Director confirms, “The BRCGS Food Packaging Certification reflects the dedication and hard work of our entire team. Meeting these rigorous standards and extending our offering into food safe packaging was an obvious move and means we can now provide even more high-quality bespoke packaging to a wider range of valued customers.”
BRCGS certification is awarded following a rigorous audit process that evaluates manufacturing practices, quality management systems, hazard and risk controls, traceability, and overall operational performance. Achieving this certification demonstrates that Sandland Packaging meets the highest standards for product safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
The certification further strengthens Sandland Packaging’s ability to serve customers in highly regulated industries, particularly those requiring strict hygiene and safety controls for secondary food packaging. It also reinforces the company’s culture of continuous improvement, operational transparency, and customer-focused performance.
In preparation for certification, Sandland Packaging invested in enhanced quality management systems, staff training, process controls, and facility improvements to ensure full compliance with BRCGS requirements. These enhancements will continue to support consistent product quality, improved efficiency, and risk mitigation across all production operations.
