Dunapack Packaging has announced a new collaboration with Yorglass, aimed at developing advanced corrugated packaging solutions tailored for the safe and efficient transportation of white goods.
Through this partnership, the two companies have jointly introduced an innovative ergonomic opening mechanism for corrugated cardboard boxes, designed to enhance efficiency, safety, and user comfort across the supply chain. While developed with white goods packaging in mind, the solution also offers significant benefits for sectors such as electronics, food, e-commerce, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
A key feature of the new design is a smart perforated side-opening system, which allows boxes sealed with adhesive tape to be opened quickly and safely using only fingers, eliminating the need for cutting tools. This not only improves ergonomics but also reduces the risk of product damage and workplace injuries.
