The Haryana Corrugated Box Manufacturers Association (HCBMA) successfully hosted its “Meet & Greet” event on 11th October 2025 in Sonipat. The gathering witnessed enthusiastic participation from members across the state and served as a vital platform for discussing key issues impacting the corrugated packaging industry.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sunny Jain, President – HCBMA, who highlighted the association’s achievements and future roadmap. He emphasized the association’s commitment to fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and collective progress within the Haryana corrugation fraternity.
1. MoU for Skill Development Centre
In a landmark step toward building a stronger technical foundation, HCBMA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three reputed companies to establish a dedicated Skill Development Centre for the corrugation industry.
Under this initiative:
- NMC Engineers, represented by Mr. Alok Mehta, will serve as a Skill Development Associate for Fingerless Corrugation and Board Line (2-ply, 3-ply, 4-ply, and 5-ply).
- Robus India, represented by Mr. Prem Vishkarma, will act as a Skill Development Associate for Automatic Die Punching and Folder Gluer.
- VIG Graphics, represented by Mr. Vikram Sarin, will be a Skill Development Associate for 3-ply and 5-ply Flute Laminators.
The centre will focus on hands-on training and technical education to upskill young technicians and operators, equipping them with practical knowledge of the latest corrugation technologies and operational best practices.Key Highlights and Announcements


2. GST Session – Step Towards Tax Parity
A special session on GST was conducted by Mr. Alok Gupta, Chairman – Taxation & Legal Affairs, Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers of India (FCBM). He addressed the complexities surrounding GST parity and shared updates on HCBMA and FCBM’s ongoing efforts to achieve a uniform tax structure across the industry.
3. MSME Schemes & Incentives
Advocate Paras Devgun, an eminent legal advisor, delivered an insightful presentation on MSME schemes, subsidies, and government incentives. He explained how registered MSME corrugators can leverage available schemes to enhance competitiveness, modernize operations, and benefit from government support initiatives.
4. Showcase of HCBMA Mobile Application
The event also featured the preview of a new HCBMA Mobile Application, designed as a dedicated marketplace for the corrugation community. Through this app, members can connect directly for machinery, raw materials, and other business needs. The official launch of the app is scheduled for the upcoming New Year.
Association Expansion and Future Vision
In a significant development, HCBMA announced the inclusion of Bahadurgarh and Karnal district associations under its umbrella. This strategic expansion broadens the association’s reach, further unifying Haryana’s corrugation industry under a common platform.
The event was successfully hosted by the governing body of HCBMA, including Mr. Rao Saleem (Secretary), Mr. Ravinder Malik, Mr. Abhishek Jain, Mr. Anil Kathuria, Mr. Ajay Jain, Mr. Rajesh Malik, and Mr. Sanjay Kathuria, among others. Their collective efforts and coordination ensured the event’s success.
Concluding the session, members commended Team HCBMA for their proactive initiatives and pledged to encourage wider participation from corrugators across all districts of Haryana—strengthening the industry’s unified voice and shared vision for growth.
