Following its recent move into a new 78,000 sq. ft headquarters in North Hykeham, Lincoln, Reuseabox, the B Corp Certified reuse packaging company, has expanded its team to 20 employees, with three new recruits joining factory operations and sales.
The new recruits signal the company’s continued growth as it expands business to meet the increasing demand for sustainable packaging solutions, whilst creating new jobs and development opportunities within the community.
Joanne Hunt joins as Factory Manager with more than 36 years of experience in operations and logistics. Joanne will be responsible for managing production processes and helping to shape the warehouse strategy to ensure the facility runs smoothly while Reuseabox ramps up production.
“After many years in logistics, I’m excited to bring my leadership experience to a forward-thinking and close-knit company like Reuseabox,” said Joanne. “There’s a fantastic opportunity here to drive performance improvements and contribute to the company’s continued success.”
In sales, Rebecca Wright is coming on board as a National Account Manager with ten years of customer service background and experience in account management. Rebecca will focus on building strong relationships with new and existing customers, helping businesses make the switch to used cardboard boxes easily.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know our customers, understanding their needs and helping them discover how reuse can benefit both their business and the planet,” said Rebecca.
Blair Simpson has also been joined on the sales team as a Sales Apprentice and will start his official apprenticeship this September at Lincoln College. Seeking to continue developing his skills, Blair already has experience in door-to-door B2C sales and telesales, and wishes to pursue a long-term career in B2B sales within a purpose-driven company like Reuseabox.
“I’m excited to be part of a growing team where everyone contributes something special,” Blair added. “There’s always something to learn, and I can’t wait to develop myself and contribute to company’s purpose.”
Driving Local Jobs and Sustainable Growth
The recruitment of these new employees follows the securing of Reuseabox’s first permanent base in Lincoln at the start of 2025, a milestone moment as the company celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. With increased capacity, Reuseabox is solidifying its place as the supplier of choice for used cardboard boxes and for businesses looking to cut out waste, reduce Scope 3 emissions, and save money with their packaging.
As Reuseabox continues to invest in both people and infrastructure, the company remains committed to delivering positive impact for the local economy, its customers, and the planet.
