The SBTi is designed to ensure companies commit to combating climate change by agreeing to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions in line with science-based targets. Targets are considered \u2018science-based\u2019 if they align with the decarbonisation goals of the Paris Agreement \u2013 limiting global warming to 1.5\u00b0C above pre-industrial levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
