Yet 50% of a conventional label \u2014 its release liner and matrix \u2014 immediately becomes waste material upon application. To meet this challenge Avery Dennison has developed AD XeroLinr DT, a new sustainable, linerless alternative for variable information (VI) labels \u2014 especially relevant for today\u2019s booming logistics and e-commerce industries where the volume of parcels being shipped increases more and more every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAD XeroLinr DT offers up to 60% more labels per roll and fewer roll changes, providing customers with greater productivity,\u201d says Vincenzo Palumbo, product solutions manager at Avery Dennison. He adds: \u201cImportantly, due to using less resources and less transportation, it has a substantially lower carbon footprint.
