It was designed by Absolut\u2019s in-house studio, The Mix Stockholm, working in collaboration with design agency Brand Union Stockholm and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ardaghgroup.com\/glass\/europe\/innovation\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ardaghgroup.com\/glass\/europe\/innovation#!innovation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ardagh Glass Packaging<\/a>&nbsp;(AGP) &#8211; Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elin Furelid, Global Director Portfolio &amp; Innovation at The Absolut Company, explains the meaning behind the design:&nbsp;\u201cThe bottle\u2019s woven pattern on the glass surface reflects the notion that several intertwined threads are stronger than one individual string and shows that we form a stronger bond when we create things together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is very important to highlight that working closely with our suppliers as partners has been crucial to this project. We could never realise a design like this without their expertise, so the entire collaboration behind this bottle is part of the concept of togetherness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AGP \u2013 Europe created the detailed woven effect on the glass surface using the Emboss with Image technique. John Oczabruk, AGP \u2013 Europe Product Designer, explains the process: \u201cWe first modelled the woven pattern on a flat surface, then created a greyscale 3D photo to wrap the pattern around the bottle, which maintained the pattern shape, size and style across the range. The effect is incredibly realistic and creates a unique character for this Absolut Spirit of Togetherness bottle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As with all Absolut vodka bottles, this limited edition contains 53% recycled glass, which is extremely high for a clear glass bottle. Sustainability is a priority for The Absolut Company and Ardagh Glass Packaging, who are co-investing in a\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ardaghgroup.com\/news-centre\/ardagh-group-and-absolut-vodka-co-invest-in-hydrogen-fired-glass-furnace-in-a-global-industry-first\" target=\"_blank\">hydrogen-fired glass furnace<\/a>\u00a0to reduce the CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0emissions from making Absolut\u2019s iconic bottles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest limited edition Absolut vodka bottle celebrates the Spirit of Togetherness.
