More Support Behind It,\u201d<\/strong> SUN Automation will demonstrate how its portfolio extends beyond individual machines to cover a broader range of plant requirements. Visitors will be able to explore solutions for <strong>rotary die-cutting, flexo folder gluing, short-run boxmaking and automated material handling<\/strong>, along with equipment upgrades, modernization options, parts and service support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solutions Across the Production Line<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the key technologies on display will be the <strong>SUN625\u00ae HD rotary die-cutter<\/strong>, <strong>LMC Mini and Jumbo flexo folder gluers<\/strong>, and <strong>PARA automated material-handling solutions<\/strong>, including the <strong>CRAB system<\/strong>. The company will also feature the <strong>Kolbus BX Motion Pro<\/strong>, designed for short-run boxmaking applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to SUN Automation, the portfolio is designed to address the changing requirements of corrugated box plants, including equipment replacement, modernization, automation and ongoing production support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBox plants are looking at their whole operation: what they need to replace, what they can upgrade, where automation makes sense, and how they\u2019re going to keep that equipment running,\u201d said <strong>Greg Jones, Executive Vice President, SUN Automation Group<\/strong>. \u201cWe work hard to make sure SUN Automation is a partner customers can rely on across more of their operation, not just for one machine or one need.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Modernisation and Equipment Upgrades<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SUN Automation will also highlight options for extending the service life and capabilities of existing equipment. These include the <strong>SUN lead edge feeder<\/strong>, <strong>PLC and controls modernization<\/strong>, as well as <strong>Langston counter-ejector and folder-exit upgrades<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These solutions are intended to provide box plants with alternatives to complete equipment replacement by improving the performance and functionality of existing machinery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Connected Intelligence and Preventive Maintenance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another focus at the exhibition will be SUN Automation\u2019s approach to equipment support through <strong>PERFORM+ preventive maintenance<\/strong> and <strong>Helios connected machine intelligence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Helios is the company\u2019s <strong>IIoT-enabled platform<\/strong>, designed to collect machine-level data and provide plant teams with greater visibility into equipment performance.
