Sealed Air\u00ae has added a new compact paper cushioning system to its ProPad\u00ae range, which seamlessly integrates into fast-paced conveyor lines and work cells, where space is limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new ProPad\u00ae Mini creates custom-length fanfold paper pads at high speeds, on demand. It can run one- or two-ply paper made from FSC\u00ae certified, 100% recycled fibres* and is ideal for protecting both lightweight and heavy, small-sized products and to fill tight voids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ProPad\u00ae Mini can be configured to run on a table, shelf or floor, and a touchscreen HMI (Human Machine Interface) enables operators to quickly adjust pad lengths in just a few touches.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Operators can customise the system\u2019s set-up to suit their requirements and optimise pack station space. Users are able to select from six adjustable dispensing-head angles, a swing arm mount, a rolling or stationary mount, a shelf mount and a foot pedal. The ProPad\u00ae Mini also features a magnetic connector that allows users to choose where they want to attach the HMI touchscreen to the system or stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The release of the ProPad\u00ae Mini follows last year\u2019s introduction of the ProPad\u00ae Horizontal, which is designed for working directly over pallets to save valuable floor space. The system can create up to 95 custom-length fanfold pads per minute (based on 30cm sized pads), with advanced automation helping to minimise downtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Protective paper pads produced by ProPad\u00ae systems can be reused or kerbside recycled, where appropriate services are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
