Toyo Ink India Pvt. Ltd., a member of Japan\u2019s artience Group, today announced the inauguration of artience Technology and Innovation Centre \u2013 India (aTIC-India) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. This marks the Group\u2019s first Research Centre outside Japan and a significant milestone in strengthening India\u2019s role in advanced research, manufacturing, and sustainable innovation. A ceremony to mark the occasion was held on 4 February 2026 on-site of the new centre at the IISc campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Designed as a best-in-class research and co-creation centre, aTIC-India will focus on deep, molecular-level research to develop next-generation, sustainable, and high-performance materials. The centre will support industrial applications across infrastructure, communication, healthcare, energy and advanced electronics. Established in collaboration with IISc Bengaluru, aTIC-India is the outcome of a shared vision that began in 2021 and evolved through continuous dialogue, trust, and partnership. Located on the IISc campus, the centre reflects artience Group\u2019s long-term commitment to India \u2014 not only as a growing market, but as a strategic manufacturing and innovation hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
