We received our nominated within the Category for Products or Services Enabling Enhanced Recycling Processes <\/strong>and a Circularity Success Stories Award<\/strong> for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our DS Smith Recyclability Evaluation Service (RES)<\/strong> is for customers who are producing, specifying, or developing fibre-based packaging, and the service offers a detailed assessment and breakdown of a fibre-based packaging solution\u2019s recyclability – alongside guidance on how to improve recycling credentials in a standard European recycling facility or paper mill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The DS Smith RES team of experts test each packaging solution to assess its suitability for recycling within a European paper mill using the industry standard CEPI Recycling Test Methodology (V3) and the 4evergreen Recyclability Evaluation Protocol. Our RES Lab-based testing is intended to support our customers and businesses in decreasing their fees under new or imminent legislation, including the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)<\/strong> and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are thrilled to win this 4evergreen award for our Recyclability Evaluation Service.
