Roberts<\/strong> as its next President and Chief Executive Officer, effective November 3, 2025. Roberts will succeed <strong>Larry N. Montague<\/strong>, who is set to retire at the end of the year after 19 years of distinguished leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Montague, who took the helm in 2006, has been instrumental in expanding TAPPI\u2019s global footprint, enhancing safety and education initiatives, and strengthening member engagement across all sectors of the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt has been the honor of a lifetime to serve this incredible community,\u201d said Montague. \u201cFrom day one, our focus was on putting members first\u2014literally placing them at the top of our organizational chart. I\u2019ve seen this industry evolve, grow stronger, and come together in ways that continue to inspire me. I\u2019m confident Lawton is the right person to lead TAPPI into its next chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roberts, currently TAPPI\u2019s Chief Operating Officer, has been with the organization since 2017 and has worked alongside Montague since 2006 in various capacities.
