Entries could explore:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A new engineering or structural design for packaging<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A marketing campaign promoting packaging as sustainable<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A creative concept showing packaging in a new or surprising role\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions can take the form of a poster, sketch, or short video\/slide deck.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Prize:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Students could win the opportunity to attend\u00a0SPA 113th Conference at Silverstone Circuit\u00a0on Monday 2nd February 2026 where they will be able to:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Network with potential future employers<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gain real-world insight into one of the UK\u2019s most innovative and sustainable industries<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience a major national business conference at an iconic venue\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ben Edmonds<\/strong>, the &#8220;cardboard Ninja&#8221;, who gave the\u00a0Innovation Keynote presentation\u00a0at SPA 106th Conference in Leeds, will judge and present the prizes at Conference.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A member of staff from each college will be invited to accompany their students and attend Conference offering them the chance to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Connect with SPA Member industry leaders and employers<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Build employer engagement links for their college or university<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support students in exploring exciting future career paths in packaging and manufacturing<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Since announcing the Challenge and extending the deadline to Friday 28th November to allow for the half term break, several colleges, sixth forms, and universities have confirmed participation, including\u00a0<strong>Kimberley Sixth Form College<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sharnbrook Academy<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sharnbrook Academy Sixth Form<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>University of Northampton<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Wigan &amp; Leigh College<\/strong>, The\u00a0<strong>Bedford College Group<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Northampton College<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The SPA Committee is delighted to announce the launch of an exciting new competition for local colleges, sixth forms, and universities, the&nbsp;\u201cThink Inside The Box\u201d&nbsp;Challenge.&nbsp; We are inviting students to showcase their creativity and imagination by rethinking the future of corrugated packaging.
