This strong performance places Siegwerk in the 94<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;percentile of all companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide and in the top 6% of companies. The new rating not only reflects Siegwerk\u2019s continuous progress in implementing its sustainability goals, but also the effectiveness of its holistic sustainability agenda HorizonNOW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With over 150,000 rated companies in its network, EcoVadis is the most trusted independent provider of business sustainability ratings. It provides a comprehensive analysis of a company\u2019s performance in areas such as environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The methodology used is based on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000, covering 250 industries and more than 185 countries. The percentile rank compares a company&#8217;s score against all companies rated by EcoVadis worldwide. Here, the silver rating starts at the 85<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;percentile and the gold rating at the 95<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;percentile. Thus, Siegwerk\u2019s result in the 94<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;percentile not only means that the company&#8217;s rating is better than 94% of all companies assessed, but also that it is very close to gold level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe great performance in terms of percentile is a powerful testament to the effectiveness of our sustainability efforts across all business areas and regions,\u201d says <strong>Alina Marm<\/strong>, Head of Global Sustainability &amp; Circular Economy at Siegwerk. \u201cWe have made great progress in the various areas of our sustainability agenda HorizonNOW, confirming that we are on the right track on our journey of creating a truly sustainable business.\u201d With its new score, Siegwerk is now among the top performers of all companies assessed for their sustainability management, making it one of the leaders in sustainable business practices and solutions. \u201cWe are proud of our achievements and remain committed to further enhancing sustainability across our operations and value chain,\u201d adds Marm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compared to its 2023 EcoVadis rating, Siegwerk has demonstrated a significant 12-point improvement, underscoring the company\u2019s accelerating sustainability momentum. For example, the company launched its Sustainable Procurement Program \u201cSustainUP\u201d this summer to bring its established Human Rights Policy &amp; Guiding Principles and Business Partner Code of Conduct commitments into action. Among other things, the program aims to help reduce the company&#8217;s Scope 3 emissions by 25% by 2030 and support suppliers to reduce their environmental and human rights risks.
