The newly installed PM 6 has a production capacity of 600,000 tpy of recycled containerboard, according to information given earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, Modern Karton&#8217;s subsidiary in the UK, Eren Paper, is pressing ahead with its large-scale project in Shotton, UK. The former UPM site is being rebuilt and converted from graphic to packaging paper production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new paper machine planned there will be even larger than in Zonguldak, designed to produce up to 750,000 tpy of recycled containerboard.
