Valmet has received an order from Klingele Paper & Packaging for an automation solution to increase resource efficiency through digitalization at the Weener paper mill in Germany. The order comprises an integrated solution that combines three new automation products with the customer\u2019s existing automation environment to reduce surface starch use and energy consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The order was included in Valmet\u2019s orders received of the second quarter 2025. Its value will not be disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are committed to improving our environmental performance continuously. Taking this new step in digitalization will help us on that journey. The primary goal of this project is to significantly reduce the usage of surface starch.
