He currently serves as an Operating Partner at Altamont Capital Partners, focused on supporting investments in the packaging sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBilly brings a rare combination of hands-on industry knowledge, commercial insight, and leadership experience,\u201d said <strong>Chuck Schneider<\/strong>, CEO of Amtech Software. \u201cHis experience speaks for itself, and we\u2019re excited to have his voice at the table as we continue building the next generation of software for the packaging industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Medof previously served as CEO of Procure Analytics, a group purchasing organization serving over 1,000 member companies, and as President of Georgia-Pacific Corrugated, where he also led the company\u2019s national Sheet Feeder business. He also served on the executive committee of the Fibre Box Association for five years, including as Vice-Chair. Earlier in his career, Medof led mergers and acquisitions at Delta Air Lines. A graduate of West Point with a degree in Engineering Physics, Medof began his career as an Army Field Artillery Officer in the 3rd Infantry Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to join the board at such a pivotal time for Amtech and the broader packaging sector,\u201d said Medof. \u201cI believe the company is well positioned to help manufacturers modernize their operations, and I look forward to supporting the team as they continue to drive innovation and growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Medof\u2019s appointment was sourced through the external board program\u00a0operated by Vista Equity Partners, a global technology investor and majority shareholder in Amtech. Vista\u2019s board program, launched in 2017, identifies and prepares highly qualified board candidates through strategic training and partnerships.
