Already successfully launched with several leading UK retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury\u2019s and ASDA, MonoFlexBE offers the same high-barrier performance as traditional non-recyclable formats, delivering a shelf-life of up to 120 days. Its PE-based mono-material structure enabled significant reductions in plastic weight and carbon emissions, while remaining fully recyclable through back-to-store collection schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A major advancement in mixed polyolefin packaging,&nbsp;<strong>PolyFlex<\/strong>&nbsp;will also be showcased at the ICDA. Developed using Coveris\u2019 extruded high barrier films, PolyFlex provides a recyclable alternative to nylon\/PE laminates and matches current performance and shelf-life requirements. Delivering substantial environmental savings, such as carbon footprint reductions of up to 36% and weight reductions of up to 13%, PolyFlex\u2019s potential was recognised with the&nbsp;<em>Best New Concept Award<\/em>&nbsp;at the UK Packaging Awards 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coveris\u2019 latest innovations in sliced cheese packaging will be on display at the show, including&nbsp;<strong>PolyFlex to MonoFlex base web<\/strong>, a complete recyclable mono-material solution that can be disposed of together through back-to-store schemes.
