Following the strategic acquisition completed in December 2024, today marks a pivotal step forward in Sonoco\u2019s commitment to sustainable packaging innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the integration of Eviosys, Sonoco\u2019s presence in the EMEA region has surged from 14% to more than 40% of the Company\u2019s global sales. The acquisition positions Sonoco, already an established leader in metal packaging in the United States, as a pivotal player in the European packaging landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now the world\u2019s largest metal packaging manufacturer, Sonoco has almost quadrupled the number of its metal packaging plants worldwide through the acquisition, only enhancing Sonoco\u2019s ability to deliver unparalleled value, operational agility, and scalability to Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands across multiple markets.
