As promised at the launch, the company is rapidly expanding the nyloflex\u00ae eco series, replacing existing traditional nyloflex\u00ae plates with new, more sustainable versions, where possible. By now unveiling two analog nyloflex\u00ae eco plates as the next step, the company is demonstrating its determination to bring more sustainable alternatives to the market, while upholding excellence in print quality and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile for corrugated post-print, nyloflex\u00ae eco FAC achieves consistent, high-quality results on rough and uneven surfaces or pressure-sensitive and soft paper materials. Both plates feature the same light blue color that is gradually standardizing XSYS\u2019 flexo portfolio to optimize plate production and reduce production waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In terms of composition, the plates\u2019 polymer layers contain between 19% and 29% renewable raw materials to improve the footprint of the plates across their life cycle, as evident by life cycle assessments performed by XSYS. They also enable a reduction of the processing time by up to 20%, helping to minimize energy use and solvent consumption in the platemaking process. Notably, nyloflex\u00ae eco plates can replace legacy nyloflex\u00ae plates without time-consuming press trials.
