McLaren Packaging headquartered in Port Glasgow, Scotland and VPK UK and Ireland, part of the privately owned Belgian VPK Group, have announced a deal to create a new 50\/50 joint venture business serving the Scottish corrugated packaging market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Donald McLaren<\/strong>, Managing Director of McLaren Packaging, said: \u201cWe are delighted to establish a new joint venture focused on corrugated packaging with VPK\u2019s East Kilbride site in Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are both family-owned, entrepreneurial businesses and have shared values, which is always a recipe for success. The new company will be called \u2018McLaren Corrugate\u2019, our other existing businesses will remain separate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis exciting partnership marks a significant milestone for both our corrugate businesses in Scotland. It enables us to use the strengths of the combined companies to deliver a wider corrugate range and service offer, thereby creating greater value for our customers.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n VPK UK & Ireland Managing Director Jeremy Anderson<\/strong> commented: \u201cThis is an exciting move for VPK UK & Ireland.
