With this development, the company aims to achieve 2,600 metric tonnes of annual recycled plastic<sup>1<\/sup>&nbsp;usage in its packaging portfolio by 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Building upon its previous actions to help make its packaging more sustainable, including the commercialisation of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.castrol.com\/en_in\/india\/home\/about-castrol\/newsroom\/press-releases\/2022\/castrol-india-introduces-100-percent-recycled-bottle-for-its-premium-engine-oil-brand.html\">100% recycled bottles for POWER1 range<sup>2<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp;in 2022 and the incorporation of 30% recycled content across its entire bottle packaging in 2023<sup>3<\/sup>, Castrol India continues to take steps to improve its packaging practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This latest change aligns seamlessly with Castrol\u2019s global PATH360 strategy, which aims to reduce its plastic footprint by half by 2030<sup>4<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Mr. Sandeep Sangwan, Managing Director of Castrol India Limited<\/strong>, commented, \u201cWe are proud to announce this milestone in our journey towards more sustainable packaging.
