Leading packaging company, Durham Box, has recently partnered with Northumbrian Gifts to create packaging for their new luxury hamper range, launched earlier this year. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the family-run Ashington-based business offers a wide range of authentic, high-quality items from the local area, including beer, wine, cider, spirits and local produce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The packaging design features a wrap-around historical map and imagery of Northumbria, crafted from 180cc\/120bk e-flute and digitally printed on Durham Box\u2019s Nozomi C18000 digital press. With a tuck-in top closure, the design showcases the technical capabilities of the digital press and aligns with Northumbrian Gifts\u2019 sustainability goals of being fully recyclable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Incorporating the ancient map into the design without omitting any significant details was a unique challenge that Durham Box overcame, highlighting their meticulous attention to detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
