Capable of handling a board thickness of up to 48 pt, the new Rapida 106 is equipped with a fully automatic logistics systems for continuous running on the thickest materials. Both color and quality control are emphasized with the QualiTronic ColorControl inline color control system and fast makeready tools utilizing unbent printing plates. Mega\u2019s team is eager to employ the Rapida\u2019s full QualiTronic PDF inline image inspection system, which compares every printed sheet with the PDF data from pre-press. One of the biggest determining factors for Mega was Koenig &amp; Bauer\u2019s unique SIS Sensoric Infeed System, which requires no setting and ensures mark free, reliable feeding. Fully automatic plate changing, real-time performance monitoring, and simultaneous roller washing are among the other automated features of Mega\u2019s press. Macri has determined that the new Rapida 106 will be 50% more efficient&#8212;double the firm\u2019s current rate&#8212;and provide extra capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customer support was another central reason in Mega\u2019s decision to partner with Koenig &amp; Bauer.
